Grace Vane Percy's love of photography started from an early age when around 10 years old she discovered her father's collection of Victorian Glass Plate Negatives. Her mother passed onto her a Nikon F2 when she was 15 and for her 21st she was give a Half Plate Victorian Camera.

Now specializing in Female Nude portraiture, predominantly for private clients. Combining the concept of the classical nude and traditional photographic technique to capture timeless images of female beauty. Her signature atmospheric, flattering lit portraits have made her name in this field.

Grace Trained at Central Saint Martin’s, before going to study fine art and the techniques of the Old Masters in Florence, she sees her work as directly influenced by classical art as well as the work of mid/late 19th century English and early 20th Century European (especially Czech and German) photographers. Her work was internationally recognised, in 2004 when Grace was invited to join the ‘Women In Photography’ Archive at Yale. Grace’s work celebrates beauty and the female form and is about empowering women to think differently about their bodies.

Grace is based in Notting Hill but has clients who come to her from France, Italy, Sweden, Holland, Greece and Monte Carlo as well as the States. She also travel to New York to photograph women there, where she has had the great honour of shooting many times in Mathew Brady’s original studio at 359 Broadway. Her clients are professionally diverse and independently successful women from all walks of life. Her work is a celebration or their natural femininity and unique beauty. She works within the classical tradition of the nude, aiming to produce nude portraits that are more art than simply naked photographs. A glorification of the body, as with countless works of art in the past, the inspiration is ordinary women.

Although the majority of Grace's work is Private Client based she also undertakes diverse commercial and fashion which is often challenging, requiring artistic flair and stylistic input, working closely with clients to realise their concepts.
