I came into makeup artistry by chance. While studying my undergrad courses in photography we were given a quick lesson on applying makeup in case we couldn't afford a professional makeup artist. I found that I had an ability to apply makeup and decided to pursue makeup artistry.

I have been applying makeup professional for a year now, I work at a beauty salon where I deal mostly with brides and special event makeup. However, I still love to do editorial or more creative makeup looks. I would describe my style as ranging from clean and natural, to drag and fantasy depending on the clients needs. I see makeup not only as a tool to perfecting someone's beauty but as means of discovery. Makeup can play up features and hide flaws, but it can also create an alter-ego.

I see Model Mayhem as a tool to help me expand my small clientele and deepen my skills. I love working with people and being able to transforms people with a few well placed touches of powder and blush.
