Keen amateur photographer in beauty and portrait photo's, but primarily engaged in photo retouching and manipulation using Adobe Photoshop. I use Windows 7 64-bit OS with a Wacom graphics tablet and pen.

I have a background in Graphic Design.

I have been using Photoshop since version 7 now on version CS5. and the vast amount of my time is spent on practising Photo Retouching using both my own images and images from any source available as long as the quality of 3rd party sources is good and preferably in raw format. I prefer to retouch portraits because acheiving good skin tone/colour/texture/smoothing is the most difficult and challenging thing to do in Photo Retouching.

Always keen to learn from others who use photoshop and take portrait photo's and always willing to impart my own knowledge to others for free.

The retouching process helps in taking a good image in the first instance and then retouching it to make it into something perfect and to make a perfect image, if possible, something to be admired.

I have been following modelmayhem and in particular the forums for some time and would like to participate in the "digital art and retouching" forum.
