About Me

I joined the Army to become a photographer. They trained me and sent me all over the Far East photographing all aspects of Army life - in peace and in conflict.

I left the Army to join 'Soldier Magazine' and again was sent to various parts of the globe. A few years later I stopped globetrotting when a family began to appear and got a job on the local newspaper - The Evening Post.

I spent years in newspapers both as staff and as a freelance. Photography has given me the opportunity to go to some fantastic places in the world and to meet the famous and not so famous. I can clearly state - the not so famous are much more interesting. I look forward to meeting more - and perhaps taking the odd snap!
