Erica James is a talented entertainer/entrepreneur who continuously displays her multifaceted talents as a professional actress, model, singer, and most importantly a businesswoman in the entertainment and TV/Film production industry. A native of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Erica embarked on her journey to stardom at the age of 13; modeling, singing, writing music and taking drama classes. As she continued to hone in on her skills as a writer, performer and professional model, it became apparent to those close to Erica that she was undoubtedly destined for greatness.

With an extensive background in the entertainment and video production fields, the possibilities have indeed been endless for her. Blessed with the opportunity to appear in publications worldwide, as well as share the same stage with various domestic and international entities provides Erica the vital experience needed to achieve and to continue striving for the achievement of her success.

Assisting a host of entertainers in their music endeavors has also provided a few more notches on the belt of this seasoned entertainer. When focusing on her musical exploits, Erica excels as a singer/songwriter and performer blessed with distinctive, yet creative talents. Influences on her classy style and technique include Billy Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Duke Ellington and Benny Goodman. While her R&B and Pop inspirations include Kelly Rowland, Madonna, Rihanna, Aliyah, Selena Johnson, Lady Gaga, Brandy and Mary J. Blidge just to name a few! Her music is a fusion of classy jazz, rock with a touch of pop, some urban sounds and inspirational lyrics; all complimenting her soulful and melodic voice. It is with this unique style that Erica longs to instill her fervor and passion for music into the hearts of millions.

The year 2012 proved to be a year in which Erica’s career began to shift more to her video-production side. That February she assisted with the creation of 1108 Films & Management Co., LLC (2012-2013) and by March she began freelancing with Georgia Public Broadcasting (GPB) & Fine Line Productions in Atlanta, GA. 1108 was a small production company in the TV/Film industry; which produced independent short films & documentaries, as well as small-budget music videos. Thanks to 1108, GPB, and Fine Line, she has had the opportunity to dive more into her field; work and progress in such a way that not only has allowed her to gain more experience but open new doors……
