I grew up on a small Island off the coast of Vancouver, B.C. and recently graduated from Acadia University, with a Bachelor in Kinesiology. For the first time in my life I feel as though I do not have solid plan of action, ever since a young age I was planning on attending university, and am trying to explore as many different areas to gain as much life experience and find something for which I am truly passionate about doing.
Ever since a young age I have been passionate about sports and outdoor activities and over the years have been involved in activites ranging from gymnastics and cheerleading to Crossfit and Olympic lifting. Growing up around active people made me truly appreciate not only how beautiful and healthy athletes can be, but also how so much of this beauty comes from accepting your own body type and working with, not against it. This past year has been a huge milestone for me and my relationship with my body, and a mental shift from skinny=sexy to strong=sexy.
In addition to my passion for sports and being physically active, I also developed an interest for theatre and acting as I was growing up and performed in plays such as Peter Pan, The Tempest and Richard III. Although my acting experiences did not extend past highschool it is something which I greatly enjoyed and hope to get back into when the opportunity arises.
