After circling the globe with a long and successful musical career as a songwriter, producer and instrumentalist, Starlin Britt flew into the acting & modeling scene only a short time ago, and is rocking it already. In less than three months, Starlin has been cast in the films “The Beguiled” and “Communist Robot Aliens”, with additional work on the sets of “Flight”, “Neighborhood Watch”, “Call Me Artie”, “Madea’s Witness Protection Program”, and for TV, “The Vampire Diaries”, “The Game”, “Single Ladies”, “Coma”, and was recently named as a core member of the Harrison Parker Law Office Team on the set of Lifetime Network’s “Drop Dead Diva”.

Barry Starlin Britt was born the last of 5 musical kids in Atlanta, Ga where he developed his skills at a very early age. Having been exposed to rock, blues, R&B and country in a state that boasts the birth of Otis Redding, Ray Charles, James Brown and more, Starlin drew from such influences to hone his craft and began a professional musical career at the age of only 15.

After extensive touring while in high school, Starlin attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, Ma where he began studying jazz to round out his stylish portfolio, before being hired after only 8 months at Berklee to go back on tour while continuing to write and produce for multiple musical acts.

As a true artist, Starlin’s passion and philanthropy lead to him co-founding Soundzabound.com with a group of educators in order to license music for educational technology, so that students around the world could have access to audio for their films, videos and multimedia.
