Hello everyone! My name is Grant, of D&G Photography. The "D" is for Dawn, my wife--she is my muse. I am a Photographer enjoying this hobby to its fullest. Much of the shooting I do is based in the following:
--Dark Themes
--Fetish
--Goth
--Horror
--Film Noir
--Nudes (non-explicit)*
--Implied Nudes
--Pinup / Vintage / Cheesecake

*while I enjoy shooting nudes, it is not something I demand of models. If you don't want to do nudes, that's fine by me.

I guess you would say my style is "alternative", in that I don't shoot to get my work on the cover of Vogue. My models tend to be more toward Suicide Girls material in appearance, though I have little to no interest shooting for that particular site. I often work with women new to modeling, however I'm open to working with women of any experience level. It is my passion to make beautiful shots of women. I always tell new models that I guarantee I will make them look beautiful in my pictures. Therein lies my drive as a photographer.

Being that this is a hobby for me, I work TFCD almost exclusively. I'm not opposed to taking paid assignments, however it's not something I'm pursuing at this point. And unless I'm on a paid assignment, I can't pay my models. Sorry. I should note that I have a rather generous model release regarding usage, sales, and publishing of nudity (in favor of the model). This is to keep a trusting relationship.

One of my more "conventional" photographic model interests is shooting a woman's pregnancy through her stages of development. Also, I am interested in doing art nudes, though I'm not particularly experienced in this department.

I'm a "Strobist", meaning that I shoot with hot shoe flash--rather than studio strobes or with only available light. Outside of the studio setting, I'm known for my work mixing light (especially in nightclubs). I also shoot tattoos for a local artist, and I enjoy landscape photography, namely waterfalls. 99% of my work is on Canon dSLR's with "L" glass. I have been known to occasionally get out my 35mm or 645 (medium format) film cameras during a shoot, though I usually reserve them for my landscape work.

I am always on the lookout for new female models. I pride myself in being low-pressure, easy going, and fun to work with. When you model for me, you will *never* leave the shoot feeling exploited or degraded.
