Hi everyone, I'm Brian Knott. I live in Huntington Beach, California. A little history about myself. I've been behind the camera for about 20 years now. First starting out in nature and falling in love with landscape and wildlife photography. My passion and connection with nature has brought me to some magical places. It has always captivated me. In the past few years I've been able to really open up and evolve in my portrait work. The connection of nature and people is frequently overlooked and I love to bring that to life.

A word about my portrait photography:

I take an approach that might be different than most. I get to know you. We get to know each other. I don't want to be some some stranger following you around with a camera. We'll learn how we are a good fit and that helps me to bring out who you really are in the pictures. I want you to feel comfortable enough to go out and be yourself without worrying what this guy with the camera is doing. The last thing I want is for you to feel that your photographer did something you didn't want or didn't do something you wanted.

It's all about capturing the real you. Not the posed you, but the you that needs to breathe, to have fun and to let go. It's about having fun. Lucky for me this is something I enjoy and not just a job I drag my feet to. So I try to bring out that excitement in everyone around me.
