About Me

I am a freelance figure model and dance artist currently based in San Francisco. I dance and perform with two contemporary dance companies: Project THRUST and Alyce Finwall Dance Theater. I teach beginning hip hop to students at the Academy of Art University, we have a lot of fun. I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree for Dance from Fordham University in conjunction with The School of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in the city of New York. Born on the island of O'ahu, my dance training began with The School of Honolulu Dance Theater under the direction of Celia Chun. I furthered my dance education in New York, North Carolina, and San Francisco studying a range of techniques and styles including: ballet, modern, hula, ballroom, latin, West African, jazz, hip hop, and contemporary improv styles.

I began figure modeling in NYC at Spring Studio under the ownership of Minerva. From there I made many contacts and began modeling around the five boroughs of New York and surrounding suburbs including: the Fashion Institute of Technology, Brooklyn College, Figureworks Gallery, The Edward Hopper House Art Center, The Century's sketch club, New York Academy of Art, and privately for professional artists. In San Francisco I am a model at 23rd Street Studio and Robert Windle's loft for open drawing sessions.

As a dancer, model, and poet, I hunger to work creatively. In turn, I seek to work with one who's soul is genuine in the process of creation. When I work as a model and performer I am constantly finding a balance between feeling natural and challenging myself as well as challenging the artist, choreographer, and/or audience. I am not afraid of a radical statement in art as long as it is thoughtful and backed up with integrity. I hope to work with artists who share these concepts and who see love in humanity.
