ABOUT ASHLEY LATIN:

Ashley Latin is the owner of A.L. MEDIA, a professional Video & Graphic Design company specializing in the music industry as well as a published Author/Blogger.

Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, at the tender age of three, Ashley was put into the foster care system where she spent her childhood growing up in state custody. As a girl, she was featured and interviewed on several television shows including "Wednesday's Child" and "Town Hall" that were geared toward bringing awareness to the increasing foster care epidemic in her city. Although she was not able to be successfully adopted, the young Ashley focused on her love of art and story writing well into her teens and was very ambitious. Upon emancipation from foster care and on her own, she moved to Las Vegas to start a new life.

Deciding not to use her past as an excuse not to accomplish her dreams, at 18 years old, Ashley Latin became the hottest young author to hit the scenes with, “That Fire in Their Eyes”...a mystery/drama, and romantic read. After the success of completing her first novel and the drive to move forward with seeing it become published, she dedicated her time to Interning for 4 years to learn the business of the entertainment industry. At the age of 21, her love of art had transpired into Graphic designing and her past of television developed into an interest in media. She worked at Beginning II End Publishing to study book publishing and marketing and later at Make It or Break It Videos, a television production company, where she trained to become a key Assistant to artists and producers in the music industry; specializing in Graphic Design and Videography.

Using her learned skills and applying them to her career, Ashley began professionally shooting videos as a videographer/video editor with her newly launched company A.L. MEDIA and has been a part of Las Vegas's music scene. She was able to secure a full distribution deal through Universal Records/Prodigee Records, LRT/ Ingrooves for Books, Movies and Music to majorly distribute any of her company’s releases, as well as her own. She continues to be involved in video & movie works as well as a television show and documentary concepts in the city as well as California.

Now raising her own talented young daughter, Ashley still makes time for raising awareness about the foster care system, as well as writing her popular self help blogs and poetry about the power of going for your dreams successfully. She was awarded the “2013 Humanitarian Award” by the city of Las Vegas due to her longstanding community efforts and regularly organizes clothing/food drives for the needy.
