My name is Samantha Fayman. I am a Professional Freelance Makeup Artist and Beauty Columnist. I have a very diverse background. My love for makeup started at a very young age. I used to be a dancer and I remember at 4 years old preparing for my dance recitals and my mom applying a bit of makeup to my face, blue frosty eyeshadow and Revlon Red Lipstick. This is a memory that will stay with me forever. My grandmother was a hairdresser whom owned and operated two salons. Before I was born she moved from Toronto to Los Angeles and began doing hair for celebrities and making wigs for cancer patients. I always knew that this was inside me and that I wanted to do this but instead I followed a business career where I spent 11 years working in a Sales, Marketing and Communications capacity. Although I enjoyed what I did and learned skills that will help me in every facet of my life, my true love led me back to Makeup. I have been working as a Makeup Artist for over 6 years now. My specialty is Wedding Makeup. I also do a lot of special event and Girl's Nights Out makeup applications. My philosophy is making the ordinary, extraordinary.
