Below I will be describing a bit of my experience as a mua:

I took makeup courses in Mexico given to me by Paola T., the lady who did the hair & makeup for Miss Universe 2007, as well as all the other contestants that participated.
Also, November of last year I attended a Seminar (aka Glaminar) in Toronto by Celebrity Makeup Artist Kandee Johnson. She's such an inspirational, wonderful and caring individual.
She shares her story of struggle and of despair with the world of when life tries to knock you down,.. but that you MUST always get back up. Sending out the message that no matter how bad your current/present reality may be, that there is always hope for a better tomorrow.
She has touched so many people with her story. I can truly say that she's a fallen angel..♥

A favorite saying/quote of mine the which I try to abide by is,
"Believe, when you are most unhappy, that there is something for you to do in the world. So long as you can sweeten another's pain, life is not in vain"..


I try to incorporate it in all aspects of my life. In this case, I feel that as long as I can contribute to making as small of a difference in the world through making someone feel better about themselves through makeup application, to see their true inner beauty shine through, is good enough for me.

I know for a fact that feeling beautiful on the outside translates to feeling good on the inside and to improving all aspects of your life due to carrying yourself with such self confidence. One that perhaps you forgot even existed or even how it used to feel.
