My name is Ged McMahon, a part-time photographer in Brisbane. Originally specialising in family and children's portraiture, I have a expanded my portfolio into modelling, corporate, event, weddings, product, and landscapes.

I have a Diploma of Photography, and recently was a finalist in Canon's Photo5 2011 and 2013 competitions. I've exhibited my work at a number of galleries across Brisbane.

My goal on this site is to expand my network and continue to build my modelling photography portfolio, and am keen to offer TFP / TFCD. I am also available for paid assignments and I offer a competitive rate.

My style attempts to break from the normal to provide more insightful elements of the subject's personality. Finding someone's best angle and building upon that.

I have a friendly approach to clients, getting to know them first and building a rapport prior to turning the camera on. I like to find out in advance what the client wants and I undertake the necessary research to be able to start a job with confidence and in line with the client's desires.

I have assisted aspiring models with techniques to find the best poses in front of the camera. Everyone is different, and models will tend to have their own unique style that suits them best. My goal is to bring that out.
