Everyone says that beauty is skin deep! However, when there are things that you don’t like, you don’t always adhere to that saying. Growing up I had so many body image issues. I wanted to be taller because I was only 5 feet. I wanted to have bigger breasts, because I had nothing up top. I always thought I just looked so young. I felt that so many of the other girls were prettier than me. I have always had this petite frame, but I was never completely satisfied….

When I was younger, everything was easy!! I could eat anything I wanted, and had no worries. However, times changed after I had children. Everyone always says that your body changes, but of course I didn’t believe it! After my first daughter I bounced back fairly quickly. The second daughter really did me in! I had never had to work so hard to get my body back in shape. Once in decent shape I tried to compete in bikini competitions. However, I was not ready mentally or physically. During the summer of 2011 I made a conscious decision to transform my body into what I had always wanted it to be. Now here I am…I am so proud to look at my body. I want to show the world that with hard work any look is attainable. For such a long time, people would compliment on my physical appearance, but I was truly never comfortable. After such a struggle getting to where I wanted to be, I am comfortable in my own skin. I want to conquer the world, one photo at a time!
