Growing up I was surrounded by the arts and through the medium of the stage my fascination with makeup started to take hold. This lead to me declaring my major in Theatre Technology and Design with a concentration in theatrical makeup. I soon went on to teach theatrical makeup at the very same university I graduated from. However, I soon realized I couldn't deny my true passions which are fashion and film.

So I very quickly recolated to Los Angeles and saught the guidance and skill of the instructors at Make-Up Designory (MUD). Which has lead me to working on film sets to bring to life everything from fictional boxers in dream sequences all the way to characters of a fictional high school. And after many years of admiring the models from the pages of the glossy magazines I have since helped create those images for Revlon Wigs.

The motivation that drives me so passionately in my work is delving into the characters I need to bring to life and finding the best possible way to get that character's inner personality and psyche translated across to the audience. I also draw upon the many artistic influences which have had the most impact on my life from Salvador Dali all the way to Tom Ford and Alexander McQueen. They have all taught me that determination, creativity, a strong mind for research and an eye for measured detail are all strong attributes that will set me aside from the rest of the pack.
