About Me

My Mom says that my love for art was obvious by age two. What started out as finger paints, crayons, and playdough evolved into oil paints, pencils, and then photoshop.

After receiving a BA in Art Education, I went to work as a 4th grade teacher for 2 years and an 8th grade Art teacher for 1 year.

In June 2008, I made a major career change. I delivered my first healthy baby and became a full-time mother. I spent countless hours staring at my precious miracle, snapping so many pictures because I wanted to absorb and preserve every bit of him. Even though I took photography courses in college it was becoming a mother that was the catalyst that caused my love of photography to blossom.
