I'm taking paid assignments only, but if I have a concept that I'd like to explore I will reach out to see if there are any volunteers who want to a) take part and b) want to add to their portfolio's.

I'm a full time, internationally published, professional photographer in the Columbia, SC area, that has a studio as well as the ability to take studio lighting out into the filed to capture gorgeous images with equally phenomenal models. There is NO distance I won't travel if the setting is right and the model looks exquisite there.

While being a full time photographer means that I do this for a living - sometimes I have concepts and ideas that I need to shoot, and I will do those as a TFP type session. If I have reached out to you, it's because I have an idea I think that you have the perfect look for OR I've been contacted to find a model for a project that is a paying gig. Did that recently as a matter of fact and 4 models couldn't be bothered to say yes or no. Amazing isn't it??

Anyway, I do find things funny here, like when the Experience button is clicked as "No" or "some" and compensation is checked off as "Paid Assignments Only" or Experience is marked as "Very" and their port contains iPhone pics in their backyard...against a fence....in harsh lighting...posing with duck lips.

And I'm SURE you models see that with photographers who hit you up for a shoot as well - and doesn't that make you chuckle just the same?

My sessions are fun, kick ass, and generally you will have issues cutting back to the number we agree on, which to me is a great compliment.

Now, whether you're a model or an actor/actress, if you need a port rebuilt, or a head shot, or something in between, don't be afraid to call or email me now. I have locations outdoors that will make you look insane, or in my studio that will put you over the top. I think fast on my feet and if you give me an idea, I can ad lib a shoot for you in under 10 seconds that would be a killer!!!

Bring a friend to chat with, that can hold a reflector, hang onto a light, or sit on the side and read. But spouses and significant others have caused problems in the creative process for either the model or me. That being said, they become a deal breaker.
