My name is Carlos, contrary to some of the photographers wannabe in this site, I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Photography. I learned to shoot photos with my grandpa at about 12 years old with an old 1953 Leica M3 that I still own, then i got a polaroid and eventually I moved to Canon AE1 SLR. I started taking photography classes at age 15 and I started developing pictures in B&W in a dark room.

My passion is photojournalism, I do freelance for the Washington Post, Stock Photography for National Geographic, and hold Fine Art Photography exhibitions in Miami Galleries.

Since my retirement from the Military I have set up shop in FL, and I am available for Model shoots at any time, I love to work at sunrise or at night producing visually striking images.

I shoot Digital, 35mm B&W and Color, 4x5 color and B&W in view camera, and Collodium Wetplate Tintypes.

I am currently residing in Boynton Beach, but I travel worldwide doing fine arts photography projects.
