Fashion wasn't actually my first choice of profession but an interest that developed after completing a degree at the Fashion Institute of Technology. During the course, I decided that I wanted to learn more about the fashion industry and got an internship with a start up fashion company. Within five months of completion at my internship, I secured a position with the company where I worked at for eight years. I learned that the industry stretched far beyond fashion and everything I was doing and have done was building my repertoire of skills. I decided it was time to leave and make that crossover. On February 2011 I launched a contemporary women's fashion brand isidoro francisco. I'm leaving the womenswear brand behind for now and will be launching my first menswear brand for S/S15 My work explores contemporary obsession with designs that are timeless appeal and a quality that goes beyond trendy. It's not only about the clothes but about an attitude that can only be achieved through an individualistic, understated way. I want to grow my company and take it to the next level. It is very important for any company to form a great working team. A friend suggested that modelmayhem.com would be a great place for me to start. I'm looking for models for future shoots but Im also hoping to make some fantastic connections.
