As an Artist and Musician, I understand the the importance in capturing the essence of performance and passion on and off the stage. Catching and keeping these moments, for personal enjoyment or promotional use, all boils down to giving the viewer the perception of being there, experiencing us in action.

I am a Low-light Photographer and my forte is Concert/ Performance Photography. This means I focus on capturing events, objects and people when light is failing or nearly nonexistent. Where flash photography, portable lighting and photo-opportunity-areas are prohibited - the domain of the selfie and smartphone - I move about in the shadows, the biggest ninja you've never seen. Instead of flashes, lights and reflectors, I employ the darker side of photography, using settings and techniques deemed too inconsistent and risky by most other camera-slingers.

The hallmarks of my personal style and the biggest difference people see when comparing my work is the prolific implementation of “irritants” like grain, noise, negative space and lens flare because they render an image that can be striking, raw and fascinating -much closer to art than commercial.

My reason for coming to this community is to find models, make-up artists, digital illustrators, and anyone else looking to collaborate. I’m interested in fun and creative projects - candid portraiture being my favorite, where smiles and movement are genuine and natural.
