I have been taking photos on and off, for over 30 years. Some times very intensely, and times when I went off on other directions, so had a break from photography.
I have mainly been a landscape/still life, etc photographer, but recently been doing more "people" shots.
I am a people watcher, so I photograph any subjects, and try to see them in as many different ways as possible.
I try to avoid clinical studio type shoots, and formal shoots. Unless of course you are a wild child, and want these types of photos, because they will be so different to your character, or style.
I am perfectly happy taking conventional type of portraiture, but I do like to make the shoot something out of the ordinary if I can, and you want it.
Body Art, piercings, 2 different coloured eyes, unusual features, etc.
My idea, is to get you to a place you do not usually go, and record it for your pleasure.
Lets face it, we all like to look at photos of things from our past, remembering our "good old days".
I want the experience for you to be full of fun, relaxing, and something to remember.
I will put you at ease, and make the whole experience, something you really enjoyed doing.
I want my subject to leave feeling, happy, content, and knowing they have captured some shots, they may never see again.
My fees are on a sliding scale. So if you are an aspiring model, wanting to build a portfolio, I am happy to do that free of charge in some cases. If you want something more substantial, or formal, I do ask very reasonable rates.
I love my photography, so I do it for, pleasure first, and to earn a living second.
