After being told by several people that I should seriously consider modeling, here I am. These comments have come from both strangers and those whom I know. I fit somewhere between a lifestyle model and a "plus" model. This depends on height requirements - too big too be a mainstream model, a tad too short and in some cases too small to be a plus model. I'd say that according industry standards I fit closest into the "plus" category. However, in my eyes I am no longer "plus."

I have lost a significant amount of weight (and am still going!); a little over half of myself. Having lost so much weight, I find myself with some "extra" skin. I may have this surgically removed in the future; once I am stable at my final goal. I'm learning to pose in ways that flatter my new figure as well as hide some of the skin. It can be a challenge to work with, but a good photographer will know how to use it or work around it. It also gives me something unique to work with. I would like to use my weight loss to inspire and motivate others and greatly welcome any opportunity to be photographed for such. I am open to various types of modeling and hope to find some great opportunities on this site!

Body Modification: I four small tattoos that can be easily hidden or posed around, depending on the shoot. I have two on my back; one on each shoulder blade. I have one on the outside of my left ankle. I also have one on the inside of my wrist, which can easily be covered by a bracelet if necessary.

Scars: I have one large scar from hip to hip. This was the result of a tummy tuck to remove excess skin following weight loss. It is very low and probably would not be in the way during a shoot, as I do not intend to wear anything that low, unless for a concept that includes surgical scars.

I am not interested in any shoots that may compromise my personal integrity or values.

I will, more than likely, be accompanied by an individual on any shoots. I realize you might be very professional however this is the internet and I'm sure for every legit photographer there is one who is shady person lurking in the bushes. Safety first!

I am currently available for work in the Chicago area, including Northwest Indiana, as well as the greater Grand Rapids, MI area. I am willing to travel to other areas, depending on the job. I do have a full-time weekday job, and weekends are best for me. I'm flexible and willing to work with you to make the necessary arrangements.
