Call me Mizz Shellacque. (Pronounced Sheh-LAK.) I like glamour, shiny, disaster and cheap sangria.

All kidding aside, I'm a photo student pursuing a BFA degree in NYC. Mostly I take photographs of buildings and boring arty stuff. But people can be fun, especially the characters. I joined MM to maybe meet some people I can connect with photographically, whether it be models, MUA's, other photographers, etc.

I shoot film (medium format, unless there's a specific reason to shoot 35mm) and digital in both b+w and color. I'm a rather good b+w and color darkroom printer, and I'm learning the ins and outs of digital printing. Some of my favorite photographers who shoot people are Peter Hujar, Guy Bourdin, August Sander, Ruven Afanador.
