My name is Cortney Van-tres Butts and my passion is hip-hop/ jazz dancer, actor, stage-theatre, model and choreographer mixed into one. Destined for entertainment since I could first remember. I was born of Montgomery, Alabama by way of the Phenic City, AL. I have always been self motivated and multi-talented entrepreneur. Most areas led me to being classified as over qualified with a military background, some college, and various trade skills. I'm very humble with all I have going for goals, I maintain focus through spiritual guidance and relationship with my Inner and Higher Power. My performance and personality captivates my audience on stage and off. Alongside my energetic mentality, I get a thrill off my viewers pleasure. My personality encloses the circle with loyalty, dedication, and respect. I started dancing when I was 8 years old, only in the fourth grade, mastering the slow grinds of Pony by Ginuwine off his debut LP, The Bachelor, in 1996. My love for performing persuaded me into acting when I decided to go on the road, showcasing the talent that I was blessed with. I served in the U.S. Navy as an Operation Specialist for two in a half years before being discharged to further his career in a different direction. Upon returning home by way of Columbus,GA , I enrolled at Kaplan University where I major in Marketing.

My future plans involve hosting a talk show for City Repp produced by W.I.L.D. Sun Media and Heard Enterprise. I've been featured in Reppin Magazine as a spotlight guest (www.reppinmagazine.com ), and also pursuing an aspiring modeling future with up and coming powerhouse, W.I.L.D. Sun Boutique.
