After having a conversation about commercial photography, it was recommended that I join the Model Mayhem community. I was told the site would be of immense help to me as I can be categorized as just starting out. I thought I wanted to go the children/family portrait route but I'd love to expand my portfolio, shoot models, do more fashion/glam shoots.

I'll probably sit back and soak in a lot of stuff.

As far as anything more about me, about ten years ago, a friend asked me what I wanted to do with my life and the only thing that would come out of my life was that I wanted to create beauty, in whatever art form I chose. My friend was an established portrait painter and encouraged me to do so. However, two small children, a mortgage and the practical day to day require me to keep my day job while I pursue my dream, hone my skills part-time so that one day I can quit my payday job and get paid for doing what I love, photography and creating beauty.
