Jovanni Soto (22), a The Julliard School Alumn, was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts. Beginning his formal training at the Boston Arts Academy in 2007, Jovanni has studied various techniques, which has expanded his horizons and developed him into a professional dancer. Receiving scholarships to Dance Theater of Harlem, Complexions Contemporary Ballet and Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Jovanni has truly taken his training and experiences and applied them to the dance world. Jovanni has worked with choreographers such as Darrell-Grand Moultrie, Dana Foglia, members of The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Desmond Richardson, Dwight Rhoden, as well and other choreographers known worldwide. Recently, Jovanni performed at The Chicago Dance Festival with The Juilliard School to perform a repertoire piece choreographed by Eliot Fled, The Jig is Up.

Alongside his formal training, Jovanni has also studied and adapted to urban street and Cultural styles such as Hip-Hop, African Dance, and Salsa at Sociedad Latina, Origination Inc, and Broadway Dance Center. He has worked with various Hip-Hop choreographers such as Luam Keflegzy, Neil Schwartz, Brian & Scott Nicholson and has participated in numerous amount of classes with Brian Friedman, Dave Scott, Rhapsody James, and many more. Jovanni was a principal dancer in the TV promo for Wendy Williams Television show and Co-Choreographed a Nicki Minaj Flash Mob for BET 106 & Park Live where he previously performed a tribute to LL Cool J with NIA Dance Troupe. He his credits also include The Pulse On Tour Showcase, Step Up 3D Private Screening, Summer Of Superstar Tribute Show, World Of Dance NYC, and various Choreographers Carnivals in NYC. With recently being signed to Clear Talent Group, Jovanni is currently delving deeper into the world of Commercial Dance.
