My knowledge and background is based on over 28 years of experience working in professional studio photo retouching environments. Within these years a vast amount of pictures of all kinds came across my screen. Almost anything imaginable – and sometimes seemingly impossible – was done to perfection and to the clients utmost satisfaction.

I started learning the great art of retouching in 1991.
Back then with an actual brush on film. This was, at times, a meticulous and very time-consuming process.
I am very certain that I was one of the few last people that had the great opportunity to learn these (then) basics.

What do I want from (being a member of) this site?:
I hope to reach models, photographers and basically anybody who needs professional retouching help.

My equipment:
• MAC PRO with 18GB RAM
• Latest, most up-to-date Portrait-enhancement programs available
• Calibrated monitor
• 1 EPSON flatbed scanner (6400 x 9600 dpi resolution) with slide-scanning-option
• External HD for backups
• Battery power backup (you never know – but then you at least do know that there's enough time to save and nothing gets lost)
• FTP-option and of course high-speed internet access
