During the past five years I have developed a strong interest in the fields of art and photography. I have taken coursework at local community colleges, UCLA extension, and many workshops in Southern California, including several at Brooks School of Photography. My husband and I have traveled to and photographed several countries in Europe. I have won art awards at two community colleges, had photographs accepted in SCIART's July juried photography exhibit, and recently won two blue ribbons for my photography at this year's County Fair. As for my goals, at the present time I see myself as a freelance/portrait photographer. Currently I am taking an advanced digital photography course at a community college. We have been given a variety of shooting assignments in which we are responsible for our own models. I believe ModelMayhem.com is a perfect resource for finding the models I will need for my photo shoots.
