Phrenopixs Photography comes from the Greek Phreno- meaning head and Pixs a derivative of pics short for pictures and literally translates to "head shots". Phrenopixs take the idea of true artist and applies it to portrait photography, aiming to provide images that are both ascetically pleasing as well as innovative, while providing an emotionally gratifying experience. Phrenopixs uses both digital imaging and Traditional Film Photograpghy to provide a vast range of photography options. This includes both Silver imaging prints and C-print.

Lance Calvin- Anything can be considered art as long as it was deliberately created to affect one of the five senses, compel the mind or inspire the heart. Great art does all three.
With that determined, I am an artisan aspiring to become a true artist. I say aspiring artist because my definition of an artist slightly differs from the standard definition of an artist. By standard definition, an artist is someone who creates art, but by that definition, everyone would be an artist, because at some point in there life time, everyone affect someone else. To me, a true artist is someone who turns there whole life into a work of art, where everyone who they come in contact with is affected, influenced or inspired. Therefore I am not an artist because i take images as a photographer, I am not an artist because I can draw or paint, I am not an artist because I play the Bass guitar trying to create compelling bass lines to make people move. Studying and learning all these art forms makes me and Artisan, A student of art.
