My name is Michael Andrew Voight and I am an up and coming designer from Houston, TX. My main medium of work is with leather. I am also a photographer and I shoot all my own work as far as product shots. I am currently seeking out stylists, photographers, make-up artists, and models with connections in the form of high end editorials. My pieces are starting to get 'out there' so to speak and the extra exposure is always greatly appreciated. I put a lot of blood, sweat, tears, and love into my work, and it shows. As of now I am focusing on leather accessories utilizing spikes, studs, stones, feathers, bone, and fur. I also utilize quite a bit of exotic hides such as python,stingray, etc. Think Mad Max meets the Runway with a little gladiator glamour thrown in. Although they are just accessories, when worn, more times then not they are the focal point. A great percentage of my work is done on a custom order basis, therefore I have very little on hand at times. Planning ahead is of a major importance to me. Let me reiterate, I am not interested in loaning out work to individuals soley to build their own personal portfolios, only to teams that are shooting specifically for editorials that would be beneficial to me. That may sound rather abrupt, but I have done that in the past, and I end up losing my focus and momentum. Focus is a wonderful thing, stay focused and you will reap the rewards. Please keep in mind when I do loan pieces out there will always be a loan agreement involved with a credit card on hold for the full purchase price of said pieces.
