My name is Marcus, better known as Marco by many. I am a 28 year-old aspiring model continuing my pursuit to be a part of the fashion industry. My goal is to be a fashion stylist, if modeling doesn’t last long term. I have a huge passion for fashion, I love to shop, and I really enjoy dressing others. I started my modeling career in the summer of 2009. I did a small photo shoot with a friend of mine, who is a photographer, and I realized I actually had photographic potential. Oddly, I didn’t know what my next course of action should be, but unknowingly the universe was working on my behalf.
My introduction to runway was an absolute Godsend. I met a bridal designer at the annual Pink Tie Party (the kick-off gala for the Cherry Blossom Festival). I started talking with her about my passion for modeling and what I should do next. She insisted that I audition for DC Fashion Week and I did just that. Since that audition I have been involved in a number of fashions including my continued participation in DC Fashion Week, Latin Fashion Week, United Colors of Benetton S/S 2012, Gift of Fashion Showcase, and many more. I have been featured on a few websites for Boho Designs and Up N’ Comin’ Magazine. I have also had the pleasure of networking and working with fellow models, photographers, designers, and others in the fashion industry.
I am currently signed with a talent agency in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania called Kaback Model Management, LLC (CEO Alycia Kaback) working as a model. I have a long journey ahead of me. Each year it gets better and of course more busy. I cannot wait to see what the future has in store for me.
