My name's Nixi, I'm 22 and makeup is my PASSION!
I have been obsessed with makeup ever since I could get my hands on it and creating crazy looks.
After years of doing all my friends hair and makeup for nights out, birthdays, halloween etc and seeing the finished look and reactions, it made me realise that this was the career for me.
But it was only when I was studying media and had to make a film trailer for a zombie film, that made me want to pursue a career in the industry. I ended up doing the makeup and prosthetics and loved every second of it, that when it came to putting it all together, I had already started at looking for courses to become a makeup artist.
I studied media makeup and hairstyling/barbering at The Cassie Lomas Makeup Academy. Had the honour to be taught/watch demos by amazing MUAs such as Kevin Fortune, Tally Bookbinder, the amazing Daniel Sandler, international body painter Carolyn Roper, Illamasqua and M.A.C teams and Cassie herself.

I have done fashion shows, video shoots and photo shoots and love every genre of the industry. The crazier and more creative, the better :) So I'm looking for models/photographers/directors/other MUAs with the same enthusiasm.

As much as this irritates me to write. I'm getting a lot of work now, so unfortunately I can't keep paying out for travel for TF shoots as it's getting a tad expensive. So I'm asking politely for a contribution to travel expenses as of now, unless the location is near Nottingham :)

I love keeping up with the new trends from Fashion week/magazines/fashion blogs. I'm also obsessed with keeping up with products/brands and always looking for a new favourite product.

Im 100% dedicated to my work and I absolutely love making clients look and feel amazing!
