Hi! My name is Jim McDermott and I am dedicated to bringing out the real person in a photograph. I want my work to be recognizable from the start - images so striking that when you see them, they tell a story. I firmly believe that inside everyone, there is a model - something unique and interesting that can be captured, highlighted and illuminated. Stories to tell. I want to bring those stories out and capture the imagination.

I have 20 years of experience taking photos and have worked professionally as a Photography Editor and Media Editor. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Mass Communications where I have developed my skills in Photo Composition and Media Creation.

I am currently seeking to build a large portfolio of models for my website. If you have a type of photo you'd like me to shoot - just let me know! I prefer to do more artistic work as opposed to just headshots, but if you really need them I can do them!

Right now I am doing TFP for all shoots while I expand my portfolio. However, I feel you will find a great deal of value in my prints - all are HD, high-quality, and many are retouched.

Fans of the late Herb Ritts will be extremely welcome here. Mr Ritts's style remains one of my highest inspirations. If you Google his work, you will have some idea of the style I aspire to.
