On October 31, 1991, a soon to be fresh face of the media world was born just west of Boston, Massachusetts. Brendon Geoffrion needed only a few years before he knew what he wanted to do with his life. One day, at ten years old, he saw a local Boston Television news cast. Within mere minutes Geoffrion knew he wanted to take up the task of telling other people’s stories for a living. Later that year he experienced his first television studio tour, taking in what the media life would offer.

Still a tender age of ten, Geoffrion began emailing on air talent at local Boston stations, curious to understand how they achieved their own success and eager to begin that journey himself.

Meanwhile, he continued visiting news stations, becoming so inspired by the fast paced energy within the TV studio that he began to think of what it would be like to work in a real one. Using a camera gifted to him by his parents, he wrote, shot, and edited his own miniature news cast every night right from his bedroom. In Junior high school, along with continuing to network with producers and reporters, Geoffrion was encouraged by his school counselor to audition to become the school’s new daily announcer. Geoffrion agreed and due to this his ability to deliver announcements clearly, articulately, and enthusiastically traveled by word of mouth into the ears of faculty at the high school level. They eventually had him take over a previously two person announcement team as a solo announcer. During his freshman year of high school, Geoffrion began hosting his own radio show which he would continue to host all throughout his high school career. By his sophomore year, his effort to induct himself into the media world gave fruit to an award winning radio show. During his senior year, Geoffrion was named radio station manager. A position in which Geoffrion was able to succeed in making the station more alluring to the younger generations.

After graduating from high school, Geoffrion attended two different colleges before realizing that he held a strong interest in entertainment reporting. Geoffrion realized that Massachusetts was not going to be able to offer him the opportunity he needed to excel in the entertainment industry. So he made the decision to relocate to the west coast and landed in Los Angeles. Within a month, Geoffrion secured an interview with CBS Radio, and on that same day was given the position. His determination was quickly recognized by individuals already in the business and because of this, opportunities were quickly offered to him. One of his favorite highlights since touching down in LA included being given press credentials to interview on the red carpet for the 25th anniversary of St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. At the event, Geoffrion had the chance to interview celebrities such as Vanessa Williams, Raven Symone, Adrienne Maloof, James Denton, amongst many others. Currently, Geoffrion is studying broadcast communications at a Los Angeles area college and continues to remain in touch with several of the connections he has made over the years.
