Charles Lugtu is a photographer based in San Diego, California primarily focusing on photographic portraiture, fashion and glamour, and digital art. Inspired by fashion photography legends such as Richard Avedon, Edward Steichen, Annie Leibovitz and Herb Ritts, Charles has experimented with different photographic styles from outdoor, on location portraiture to in studio high fashion.

Charles’s “Glamour” style is defined uniquely by its bold, dark, urban, “edgy-glamour” theme involving subjects in rough, graffiti-heavy locations, with diffused, sometimes dramatic natural lighting.



**Exhibited Photographs in local galleries and showcases, as well has the San Diego County Fair's International Photography Competition.

**Published in Modified Dolls magazine, Impact Magazine, The Alchemist Magazine and M&M Modeling Magazine.

**Awarded with honorable mentions at the San Diego County Fair Exhibition and a best Photo Illustration award at JACC (Journalism Association of Community Colleges)

Hey, I'm interested to come to America in future but at the moment while traveling is still difficult, I am offering remote shoots afternoons on Wednesdays or Mondays Melbourne time until March 8th. I'm currently working with another photographer to do these shoots but I hope in future to get my own gear and do more on location remote shoots. I have a CBD apartment with a rooftop balcony, large natural light windows, a range of backdrops, props & can use the buildings facilities of a gym, spa, pool & sauna. My rates for remote shoots would be less than what I charge for in person shoots. Let me know how many hours you would like me to quote you for and if you like to pay by PayPal or a bank transfer to my UK bank or AUS bank. We would tether the camera to the laptop and screen share so you can control the settings/shots & we could chat over FaceTime or WhatsApp during the shoot. The gear we have is a Sony full frame camera with a range of lenses available; 50mmf1.8, 85mmf1.4gm, 17-28f2.8, 28-75f2.8, 105f1.4gm, 70-200f2.8gm
