My name is Gareth James and at this stage would classify myself as a serious amateur photographer.

I have been taking photos seriously for the last 5 years concentrating mainly on travel and street photography, but more recently shifting my interests into documentary and advertising work.

I heard about Model Mayhem through word of mouth and heard that in particular the forums are possibly the best place on the web for Phogotraphers to discuss and share information on retouching and post processing images.

I would love to contribute to and use the MM forums to share ideas and discuss with other top photographers around the world best practice and methods in post production.

I'm striving like the rest of the photographic community to achieve a look that does not look over worked. I love everything about the use of colour, selective colour and tone and would like to share and discus ideas surrounding these interests.
