Informative note about cooperation

For what concerns new graphic elaboration (or photo-retouch), I mostly prefer TFCD cooperation (or, better said, TFFS Time For File Sharing ). Both the photographer and the model can give me the picture they want me to work out again, but it’s me who decide how to use it, creating a new and alternative image, that every partner can use for its own purpose and with the same rights (me, model, photographer, etc..).

Infos you need to know:

1- I don’t like woring on Jpeg files, since I prefer RAW files, in order to obtain, after my setting, 16bit TIFF Files. Once I’ve finished the elaboration, I convert the whole work in 8bit Jpeg files (the most common image size), with the largest side being maximum 1100-1200 pixel at 300dpi (I rarely set them bigger that this);

2- To send me your Jpeg or RAW files, please use a site like this https://www.wetransfer.com/ that allows to handle big files without using the e-mail box space;

3- When one or more of your images are choosen and then elaborated (being the elaboration clear between the original and the new one), I will sign, usually on the frame, the new image file , and I will post it on my blog http://chirurgiagrafica.wordpress.com/ (have a look at it!), and in my portfolios on the web (DeviantArt, Facebook, etc…);

4- Together with the new image, I will give you all the links to the mentioned websites, that can be used also to download the image, as I upload them the same size you get;

5- When possible, the model’s and photographer’s name will appear in the credits of the image uploaded in the already mentioned websites (see blog for examples);

6- If you like, I can mention your website or Facebook account or short biographies in the image credits, as you prefer;

7- I will use the elaboration, and all the partners can do the same, but please, do not retouch my elaboration (a second version of an elaboration is pretty silly thing, don’t you think?).

PS: Please note that in TFCD/TFP or TFFS cooperation, there is no money involved, it’s an exchange based on the time that all the partners use for the common project.
