My real name is Wiktor Mech and I am a professional photographer specializing in environmental portraiture, lifestyle and occasionaly social documentary. I am based in Oxford, UK, but travel widely in Europe.

My love for photography and people stretches far beyond nowadays dominating digital form.Deep down I am a purist with great passion for the magic of traditional analogue techniques. This has effectively had a strong impact on the style of when working with the digital medium. Gravitating towards simple,organic retro look has now become a second nature and the way I pre-visualise the images before they even come to exist.


Long story short
Since the very beginning of my photography journey I have enjoyed working on projects spanning the entire cultural spectrum: prestigious events,personalities, charity work, personal functions such as weddings.Most recently I spent several months travelling around Europe and the Atlantic Ocean working as a photographer on board of the spectacular P&O’s vessel mv Ventura. My photography is all about people and capturing the vital moments and emotions.

Contrasting experiences and an ability to connect makes it easy for me to blend into a setting. My manner is professional but relaxed and this is reflected in the imagery I create.
The initial spark for my passion came from a background in the hospitality,travel and philanthropic sectors.Mixing with new people and cultures, I realized that I was meant to see the world through a lens, to interpret it, not just look at it. I am constantly learning: each new assignment helps me to improve and clarify my vision.
