My first part-time job at 15 was as a photographer’s assistant and most probably my last job will be as a commercial studio photographer, so with a break of just a few years for University that’s almost 30 continuous years so far in professional advertising photography.

If you have browsed through my galleries then you’ll see that I’m not a man with a camera, a career change accountant, a hobbyist with a day job or an aspiring student. I’m not a jack-of-all-trades photographer either. I don’t do family portraits, I don’t do babies and no, I don’t do weddings.

But, I am a specialist at supplying commercial advertising photography of the very highest standard to discerning picture buyers. I am mainly commissioned by Design and Advertising Agencies, Web Designers, Retail and Trade Suppliers, Product Manufacturers or Service Providers, I also regularly supply creative images to some of the most renowned picture libraries in the world. My photography is represented by Getty Creative, Stockfood, Fresh Food Images, Lonely Planet Images and 4 Corners Images, among others.

My city centre studio has a friendly and relaxed atmosphere with plenty of room for storage and parking. In the studio I generally listen to BBC Radio 4 all day (apart from Gardeners’ Question Time) but if you can’t stand the Archers or if the shipping forecast gets up your nose, there is a large collection of CDs.

You may have guessed I’m a self-confessed perfectionist. I don’t like to compromise on image quality and creativity. I will however work really hard to produce a set of images that not only fulfill your brief, but instead go much further. So don’t be surprised if I challenge your initial brief or concept. I pride myself on the thought process that will go into completing your project, from an initial doodle to the delivered result. I will show your products or services to your customers in the best possible way.
