Fine Art "People Photographer" from Germany.

My formal art training was in painting and sculpture. I do fine art portrait photography since 1989. My compositions and choice of colors are reflecting this classical training.

I pursue two intertwined bodies of work in my photography, one is tribal people and the other one is nude portraits or semi nude portraits of Men in their environment. Most of my photography has been in Africa, South America and Asia. When I travel, I usually go for 2 month at the time and get to stay with and get to know the people I photograph somewhat.

I also have had the great fortune of meeting wonderful people in the SF Bay Area to work with. On this site am looking for male models of all mixes or ethnic backgrounds, that are interested in taking pictures outside in natural light as well as studio lighting inside.

My favorite images are those with facial expressions that feel more authentic and go past glamorization. I enjoy very much working together with the person in the picture and find it a great honor and blessing when all the magic aligns to allow a great picture to happen through the artists involved.
