Jarno Kettunen, born in Finland in 1980, is an award winning fashion illustrator and visual artist focusing on quickly capturing the essence of moments and personalities into energetic hand–made drawings that evoke feelings of elegance, luxury, and glamour.

He is a frequent fashion collaborator and makes his now famous “live illustrations” at Paris fashion week shows including Jean Paul Gaultier, Dior Homme, AF Vandevorst, and Manish Arora. In 2014 he debuted at New York Fashion Week by making a portrait illustration of Diane von Furstenberg backstage at her spring-summer 2015 show. He also creates live illustration happenings and artistic drawing performances such as portraying favorite clients at the Jeffrey Atlanta fashion boutique and capturing the movement of dancers at the Royal Ballet of Flanders in Belgium. Kettunen’s commissioned work includes editorial illustrations for NYLON Guys magazine and portraits featuring Chanel’s Fall 2010 and Spring 2017 make-up collections.

Kettunen’s home base is in the USA and he works across the globe for clients such as Essentiel Antwerp, RISD Museum, Levi Strauss, 7 For All Mankind, and V&A Museum to name but a few. His work has been featured in publications such as Vogue/Style.com, Vogue Netherlands, Elle Belgium, L’Officiel Maroc, Nylon, LINDA. Magazine, Modern Weekly, and A Shaded View on Fashion by Diane Pernet. His original works have been part of exhibitions in museums and galleries including Joyce Gallery in Paris, Fashion Space Gallery in London, ModeMuseum in Antwerp, and Gallery Nucleus in Los Angeles.
