Thank you for reading my profile! I'm a Dutch Artist, living in the city of Groningen. I'm currently re(de)fining my skills at the Classic Academy for fine arts (Klassieke Academie voor Schilderkunst). In search of (nude) models I came upon ModelMayhem.com. As any professional artist will tel you, model-drawing is a basic skill that one cannot practice enough. Ever.

Looking for (male or female):
*(new) models - preferred: Self esteem in any shape, form, age or size.
*portrait models - preferred: I believe charisma comes with age.
*nude models - preferred: skinny (bone structure) or strong/fit (muscle tone).

Note 1: I'll never ask a new model to take off any clothing. We just get acquainted and meanwhile I'll start sketching. You'll sit comfertably and drink coffee, meditate or read a book. Easy as that. Smoking allowed (I quit smoking but it often makes great poses). The setting should be realexed but with respect and focus.

Note 2: Posing (nude or not) for a painter is very different from posing in front of a camera. Please realise that you'll be asked to maintain the same position for at least 2, more often 12 and sometimes 20 minutes. Even sitting or lying down, that's pretty hard. Also, instead of looking through a camera at you, I'll be looking directly at you and indeed studying your face/hands/knees/torso/etc. For me it's absolutely normal and -no offence- just like looking at any object.
