I have been a photographer for almost ten years. I was enrolled to Academy of Art San Francisco in 2004 on a hundred percent portfolio grant. While I had always aspired to attend AAU, I decided not to stay. I didn’t want to learn someone else’s idea of what good photography should be. I left the school, and began to work for myself. In 2007, I moved to Los Angeles to pursue my career as a fashion photographer. I had only photographed people a couple of times prior to my move, but I quickly advanced and worked with some amazing people. My primary focus is fashion with an occasional digression. I shoot with a very cinematic style. Instead of simply posing my models, I like to write a short scene for them to act out. It makes the images look much for visceral, and often makes it easier for the models. I have moved around quite a bit, but currently reside in Los Angeles, CA.
