Growing up in Southern California, just beyond Hollywood, I was raised on films from Hollywood’s bye-gone Golden Era. I’ve grown up with the notion of a wink and a smile being intensely sexy from the starlet’s upon that silver screen (also the notion that it is completely normal to burst out into song and dance, but that’s for a different bio…).

My mother didn’t want me to fall into the ‘trap’ of fashion fad’s and would ask me to watch these old films with her and pick out wardrobe that I liked. Marilyn was a big influence.

When the Big Band Revival hit in the late 90′s, I was all for it! I fell in love with the music, the cars, and the whole Rockabilly scene. I slowly began to add Retro and Vintage accessorizes to my ‘classic’ clothes. Learning how to do my hair, picking out the perfect shade of red lipstick, and working my Marilyn ‘wiggle.’

This has all lead to one day when a photography friend of mine asked me if he could do a shoot with me at the Art Deco Oviatt Building in Downtown LA. Since then I have jumped at every opportunity to be a Pin Up, until I realized that I am a Pin Up!
