My name is Howard and I moved from photography into painting about 10 yrs ago because I found the satisfaction of creating a painting much higher than capturing a photograph. I still do photography, but mainly now as sources for paintings. I have a studio and paint different genres, but the exactness required for portrait and figure work yields improvement in all my other work. I try to always find time to paint people. I often need models for commission work as well as studies and special projects.
