Rocky Montana was est. September 9 1990 Rocky Is a young and Talented
Artist, Determined to Succeed in not only Music but in life.In the
summer of 2001 in a local neighborhood in the small state of Delaware
Rocky's dream of the music biz erupted.As a 7th grader in middle
school he had very little knowledge of how to break into the music
business. With this being said the most logical way of receiving
additional attention from record labels was to send in a demo.
Unfortunately his idea of a demo was a recording on a cassette tape
with the instrumental playing in the background. This so called “demo”
was placed in an envelope and sent directly to Bad Boy Records.
Obviously there was no response. Again, big dreams but very little
knowledge. Undiscouraged, he decided to hold off on sending material
in, and focus more on perfecting his craft.As the years past, Rocky
felt that He was ready for the next step. He decided that if he was
going to go anywhere then he needed a household name and an image.
with That being said he developed a Love/Hate attitude. An Attitude
that speaks the truth and yet holds his tongue for no one.An attitude
that girls are magnetized to. an Image that all guys wanna be and all
girls wanna be with. Rocky was Now Gritty yet lovable. The Perfect
Image. At Age16 he then started recorded at several studios inside and
outside of Delaware. Also Performing at several venues in Delaware,
Baltimore and Philadelphia and New York. In 2007 Rocky recorded and
released His 1st mix tape. This mixtape set the standard for a Lot of
upcomimng delaware artists. In 2008 Rocky signed with independent
label Soul Convection and immediately started recording songs for His
project that he hoped would land him a record deal with a Label that
he would fit in with perfectly. Rocky would go on to ghostwrite and
produce for various other artists. With Soul Convection, a firm music
foundation, a powerhouse creative team and a growing fan base. Rocky
also sponsored by Sublime Dreamer, an Up and Coming Clothing
Line/Promotion Company. Other Members include DJ Bran, one of the
tri-states hottest dj's. and Ron Vann Dam, one of the tri states
hottest Videographers. In 2011 Rocky Signed With Major Recording
Company Atlantic Records, and is now Working on his first major
project Soon to be Realeased.
