[i]Hello, I'm Selina Justine of Halfhearted Zombie Makeup & FX. I specialize in the abstract, eyecatching, and disturbing.[/i]

I'm a [b]certified makeup artist[/b] fluent in every kind of technique and tool. I dabble in hairstyling as well, although I've had minimal training. I like to be as involved as possible in everything I partake in. I do everything- from beauty makeup to special effects to body painting- but every makeup look I create has one thing in common: it is transformational.

[b]Strengths[/b]
[u]Gore: [/u] I am currently studying forensic science books to improve my realism in prosthetic application, blood spatter, and wound simulation.
[u]Authentic Period Makeup:[/u] I am well versed in vintage black and white makeup techniques, and the development of makeup trends throughout the last 100 years.
[u]Color Theory:[/u] I understand what it takes to build a cohesive color story throughout a photograph, taking into consideration the wardrobe, hair, set design, and model's features.
[u]Sanitation:[/u] I have been well trained in the disinfection and sanitation procedures of tools, makeup, and workspace and always abide by said rules.

I completed the Master Makeup Course at Blush School of Makeup [San Francisco] in July 2011. I completed the Prosthetics and Advanced Special Effects Makeup programs at Cinema Makeup School [Los Angeles] in May 2012. I've been thoroughly trained in face shapes, corrective techniques, multi-cultural skin tones, color theory, disinfection and sanitation, skin types, and countless other courses.
