Amanda Thorell is a Swedish born make up artist living in London. Make up, hair and beauty is not only my job but my biggest interest and a major part of who I am.
I love fashion, art, interior design and anything that gets my creative juices flowing.
Being a mua you have to have great attention to details and an eye for whats in season, i get my inspiration from everything around me, from people on the street, the buildings around us, movies and magazines. I currently freelance as a MUA and hairstylist for the fashion, bridal and music industry.
I have experience in working under pressure with time limits, working with all types of skin tones at any age, customer service, make up tutorials, studio make overs, make up retail, fashion shoots and music videos.
I take great pride in my profession and always push myself to deliver the best standards in everything that I do. Making people feel beautiful and confident in their own skin is very rewarding and if beauty is my passion make up is my art.
I am a happy easy going person and with a smile on my face and with my creative flairs and beauty skills I make sure that working with me will be a great experience in all aspects.


My make up world takes up a big part of my life and I work a lot on social media. I am running my blog, my Facebook make up page and YouTube videos with make up tutorials. I also am a self-thought nail artist and enjoy creating new nail designs on myself and others.

Education.
2010-2011 “Higher Education Certificate in Professional Make-up Design” 1 year fulltime course at London’s top make up school Delamar Academy where is was trained by industry professionals like BAFTA award winner Catherine Scoble. I specialised in fashion and beauty but also had full training in film, tv, casualty, prosthetics and bridal make up. During the course I also did basic hairstyling, fashion hair and basic haircutting.
