Hey, I'm Daphne! I'm creative and vibrant and real. I like to imagine things, find things, transform things, grow things, build things. I'm a fledgling artist and began modeling because I love meeting other artists and seeing them work. I especially enjoy modeling for life-drawing classes; the conversion of my own body to lines and shapes and shadows is surreal and gratifying, and I learn a lot by chatting with the artists who draw me. Working with photographers can be equally gratifying, although different. It can be a little bit scary or really exhilarating or just plain fun, and seeing a finished product and thinking "Wow! that's me!" is such a cool feeling.

My favorite types of shoots are the ones where I get to be a new person, where I get to wear a neon wig and snarl at the camera like a wild thing or roll around in a big pile of glitter or slink like a cat. I love theatrics! Of course, subtlety has its place, too..

What I don't like is fake beauty masquerading as the real thing. Too-too skinny models with exaggerated tans, acrylic nails, and skin so airbrushed that it looks like plastic... simply not my cup of tea. If that's the sort of thing you prefer, you might want to skip over me.

So now for the nitty-gritty... (PLEASE READ IF INTERESTED IN WORKING WITH ME!)
I am open to many ideas when it comes to paid shoots, so drop me a line if you have some work for me! I'm also very open to doing TFP shoots, but have a few limitations.
For UNPAID SHOOTS I will NOT:
-shoot nudes. topless, implied, and lingerie are a possibility... but only if you are a good photographer and you have something especially cool and creative in mind.
-travel outside of NYC. even if you pay the travel expenses, it's just too much of a hassle.
-allow you take complete artistic control of the shoot. an unpaid shoot is meant to be collaborative; my voice must be present in the finished product just as much as yours is.
-do any sort of live modeling- figure modeling, runway, etc.
